Offshore Storekeeper Jobs
The Offshore Materialsman \ Storekeeper is responsible for the the inventory and upkeep of the stock of
stores and spare parts that are required on all offshore rigs. The Materialsman makes sure that all inventory items are stored correctly and
securely, and that all required certificates for the stored parts are present.
The offshore materialsman must have some computer skills, as he will be using a computerized
inventory tracking program to ensure that stocks are kept at required levels. He or she will also be in charge
of ordering parts and supplies when stock falls below required levels, and receiving and taking inventory of new
parts when they come in. Supplies come in at all hours, so the Storekeeper may be taking inventory on occasion
in the wee hours of the morning.
The role is similar to that of a military Quartermaster. Having logistical or warehouse experience is usually
required, though previous offshore experience is generally not, if you have experience running a storeroom or

Pay is generally very good for
